Watching

★★★ (3/5) I’m likely missing context to properly watch this movie, I should revisit.

★★★★★ (5/5) My favourite movie. Genuinely perfect.

★★★★ (4/5) Watched on Friday November 19, 2021.

★★★★ (4/5) Justin timberlake is super hot

still my favourite bond movie. Incredible rewatch candidate for me.

★★★★ (4/5) Gay communist love story

incredible political satire, can be, and has been interpreted a thousand different ways. Verhoeven is genius

★★★★ (4/5) First modern bond movie, is not good by modern metrics, but has the Sean Connery charm while avoiding much of the mid century awkwardness of the prior movie, dr no.

★★★★ (4/5) Plenty of mid century awkwardness, great first entry into the series.

★★★★ (4/5) The movie makes sense only when you actually understand what “beyond a reasonable doubt” means. As the immigrant character pointed out. Carrying out jury duties is more about “I’m not sure” than one way or another, which is an uncomfortable part of the duty. Presents Utopianist mid century ideas of how people’s biases affect their judgement, overlooking people’s backgrounds in favour of doubt and believing in a higher calling when someone’s life hangs in balance.

favourite tv show ever. By far. Will watch and rewatch a million times

it's great, slightly overhyped at times

I'd argue I liked it as much if more than breaking bad, incredibly slow at times though

super disappointing

cultural popcorn, nothing other than that. Sometimes popcorn is fine.
